What can I expect to happen during my Service Call?
Servicing your appliance in your home is very convenient, but keep in mind that in the process of the repair we will be opening up your appliance and exposing hazardous electrical parts and wiring, sharp edges, moving parts, and other dangers. We require that for your and your family’s safety, as well as the safety of our technician, please keep everyone at least four (4) feet from the appliance while we are servicing it. (This includes your pets, we like them too!) However, please don’t go too far away, as your technician will need to ask you questions to aid in the diagnosis and evaluation of your appliance. We may need your help in locating your circuit box, water/gas shut offs, and we will need to show you the problem and explain the repair and pricing. Always feel free at any time to mention any information that might be helpful.
Q: Is there a fee for the Service Call?
Q: What if the Technician is unable to repair the appliance when coming out for a Service Call?
A first time completed repair is our goal. We work very hard at attempting to repair your product on the first trip; it is more convenient for you and also lowers our costs. We stock most fast moving parts on our trucks, and we bring more when available. However it is still sometimes necessary to order a part. In those cases, there is NO additional service call charge for the return trip.
Q: Does your company offer any warranty on your repairs?
Our limited labor warranty in regard to correcting defects in our workmanship is lifetime – there is no time limit. However, if a part fails owing to a manufacturer’s defect or normal use and wear our labor is covered for 90 days. The service call charge is warrantied for 30 days only on the same machine. There is no warranty against additional or more extensive repairs, against other problems that may occur on the same machine (even if involving identical symptoms), or against incidental damages. Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty, which is usually 30-90 days. After the manufacturer’s warranty expires we will add our 10 year prorated part warranty at no additional charge. Residential customers only, commercial use is manufacturer’s warranty only.
