Lifetime Workmanship & 90-Day Limited Parts and Labor Warranty
Our warranty in regard to correcting defects in our workmanship is for the lifetime of the product – there is no time limit. However, if a part fails due to a manufacturer’s defect or normal use, parts and labor have limited coverage by us for 90 days. A repeat service call is free for 30 days.
Disclaimer of Liability: Should you or any third party decide to perform repairs following our diagnosis, we cannot assume responsibility for the results of any further issues that may arise. Any intervention beyond our control voids any warranty related to our diagnosis and repairs, and releases us from responsibility.
Exclusions: There is no warranty against additional or more extensive repairs, against other problems that may occur on the same machine (even if involving identical symptoms), or against incidental damage. Repair warranty only. No refunds. Services provided by us through a third party (OEM, service plan, concession, etc.) are contractual through the third party and limited by the terms of the contract.
No Warranty For: Acts of God (lightning, voltage surge, water damage, etc.), misuse or abuse, corrosive environments (e.g., sulfur, hard water, sediment, humidity, etc.), failure due to inadequate venting/airflow, insufficient water/gas pressure, voltage/electrical supply issues, or improper installation. No warranty or refunds if parts are no longer available.
An original service receipt may be required. This warranty applies to home service provided by Dave Smith Appliance Services LLC only and does not cover parts purchased over the counter or sold online. These parts are covered under the manufacturer’s part warranty only: filters, lamps, fuses, and all cosmetic and non-functional parts. Residential use only; commercial use warranty is 30 days.
